Physician-Assisted Suicide
Resolution
“In order to be a moral/just society, the United States should permit doctors to supply the means of death to a competent, informed patient who is terminally ill, who has voluntarily requested the doctor’s assistance in dying, and whose request has survived treatment for depression.”

Tournament details
The 1st Annual Moral Forum final tournament was held on March 14, 2006.

Student winners included:
Champion: Zac Simon and Chase Espy
Awarded $2,000 each to be used for future academic study
Finalist: Jessica Shaver and Mark Asbury
Awarded $500 each to be used for future academic study
Outstanding Individual Debater: Lindsey Mullen
Awarded $500 to be used for future academic study
Judges for the Final Tournament included W. Ross Bryan, Assistant Director, Housing & Residential Communities, E. Culpepper "Cully" Clark, Dean of the College of Communication and Information Sciences, and Steve Thoma, Professor of Educational Psychology.
