To Whom Much Is Given
2007 Conference on Service Learning in Higher Education
Call for Proposals
We invite your participation in the first state-wide conference on service learning and poverty, To Whom Much Is Given. CESR is currently seeking workshop session proposals from scholars, professors, and students.
We are interested in providing a variety of session formats, to meet the interests of learners and educators from diverse constituencies and with a range of experience in the field of service learning. We encourage collaborative teams of presenters and interactive workshops. Presenters are not expected to be experts in the field of service learning; rather, we prefer sessions be led by engaged and inquiring academics who have stories to tell and questions to ask in this field.
The conference will include 4 workshop/breakout session blocks, each featuring 4-5 concurrent session options. Sessions will be approximately 45 minutes in length, and sessions should including ample time for discussion, dialogue and/or question and answers.
To learn more, download the call for proposals (PDF), which contains detailed instructions about the submission process, and a cover sheet (PDF) to include with your submittal. You can also download these as one document (Word).
You can submit your cover sheet and proposal through the following methods:
